Aberdares
From the city, you will head into the cool, misty heights of the Aberdare Range. Here, thick forests, rolling moorlands, and cascading waterfalls create a magical atmosphere. Elevated lodges overlooking busy waterholes give you front-row seats to wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and even nocturnal animals, all from the comfort of your stay.

Masai Mara
Next, you will make your way to the iconic Masai Mara, a destination known around the world for its breathtaking savannahs and incredible wildlife. Depending on the season, you may even catch the Great Migration as millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains.

Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 7:30 AM and head north toward Samburu, arriving in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive as you explore Samburu’s unique wildlife, including elephants, leopards, buffalo, and the region’s well-known black-maned lions.

Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Lodge.

Spend the morning and afternoon on game drives as you explore the reserve and its wide variety of wildlife.

In the evening, enjoy a cultural Samburu dance performance at the lodge.

All meals and overnight stay at Samburu Lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Nyeri and enjoy lunch at Outspan Hotel or Aberdare Country Club.

In the afternoon, transfer to your tree lodge, such as Treetops or The Ark, located deep within the forest.

Spend the evening watching wildlife as animals visit the floodlit waterhole.

Dinner and overnight stay at your tree lodge.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this bird-rich park, which is home to rhinos, buffalo, and beautiful views of the lake.

Dinner and overnight stay at Lion Hill Lodge.

After breakfast, travel through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara.

Enjoy a game drive on the way to your camp, with chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and plenty of plains wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sarova Camp.

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives across the Masai Mara’s vast plains, which are known for exceptional wildlife sightings.
