Next, travel to Tsavo, one of Kenya’s largest and most diverse national parks. Divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West, the region features rolling plains, volcanic hills, rivers, and spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy game drives in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and other wildlife while taking in the park’s unique landscapes and remote wilderness.

Itinerary

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south to Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch.

Overnight stay in Amboseli.

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park, known for its volcanic landscapes, Mzima Springs, and diverse wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, and hippos.

Overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge, Finch Hattons, or a similar lodge.

Travel to Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red-earth landscapes and large elephant herds.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the savannah plains and along the Galana River, keeping an eye out for predators and other plains wildlife.

Overnight stay at Voi Safari Lodge or a similar lodge.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart Tsavo and return to Nairobi by the afternoon.
